If you have a large number of keyboxes (lockboxes) that you want to assign and program, there is a feature in SupraNET called Quick Keybox Assignment that can help you.
Use the unique Identification (ID) number to search for the keyholder or office. The search function requires that the Keyholder and the Office IDs are an exact match. To change the search from Keyholder to Office, check the box for Office. Keyholder and Program Shackle Code are selected as default.
You can scan individual lockboxes, the carton they came in, or the barcode at the top right corner of the Product Distribution List (located in the carton of lockboxes).
The programming base is automatically detected and used, there is no setup required.
You must use the Device Manager feature in your computer to set the programming base to use COM1 or COM2 communication ports. Then in SupraNET, when redirected to the COM Port Setup page, use the drop-down menu to choose the same COM port you chose in the Device Manager. If you log out and log back in, you must set up the COM Ports again.
1. Click the Show All Tasks button on the SupraNET homepage.
2. In the Keyboxes section, select the Quick Keybox Assignment link.
3. Type in the keyholder ID or office ID and select Search.
4. Place the keybox on the programming base.
5. To change the shackle code, enter the four-digit shackle code of the keybox into the Shackle field.
To change the seven-digit numerical CBS code:
a. Check the Program CBS box.
b. Enter the new CBS code in the field next to the Program CBS box.
6. Select the Program & Assign Box button.
7. Put a new keybox on the programming base and repeat step 7 until you are finished programming and assigning keyboxes to this specific keyholder or office.
The serial number of the newly programmed and assigned keybox displays in the Assigned Boxes area. You will see the green 0 turn to 1 to indicate that the keybox was successfully programmed and assigned. To continue to the next keyholder or office, select the Next Keyholder / Office button at the lower right corner. The Next Keyholder / Office button will clear the previous search information.
You can assign a single keybox, multiple keyboxes, or cartons of keyboxes (if you are not changing the shackle code) by barcode scanning or typing in the information, see below for some examples of input methods.
